Doncaster County Courts 1 and 2

Fibre Environmental Services Ltd were contracted by HMCS to carry out the removal of approximately 800m2 of sprayed asbestos insulation to the secondary concrete ceilings situated above the suspended ceilings to Courts 1 and 2. The courts were fully operational during the entirety of this project. Specialist access scaffolding was erected to Courts 1 and 2 to facilitate access to the high level ceilings and to erect the enclosures.
This project proved quite difficult as once we had removed the suspended ceiling and secondary ceiling we found that the concrete and plaster to the walls had been applied over the top of further sprayed asbestos insulation. After further instruction from our client we removed the plaster to the walls and ceiling. This was carried out manually to which the project was still delivered within the time scale originally set.
