Awareness Training
Training is mandatory for anyone liable to be exposed to asbestos fibres at work. This includes maintenance workers and others who may come into contact with or disturb asbestos (e.g. cable installers), as well as those involved in asbestos removal work under the new CAR 2012 regulations.
Our Asbestos Awareness Training course is designed for those who need an understanding of asbestos and its potential risks. Persons who are responsible for the repair and maintenance of commercial property will be able to identify and deal with asbestos, and meet their legal 'duty to manage'. Exemption from this requirement for training, only applies when it can be demonstrated that the working environment is free from all asbestos-containing materials (ACMs).
