Encapsulation
It is not always necessary to fully remove asbestos and for that which must remain or that which is safer to keep in-situ, we can seal the asbestos fibres in a fire-proof adhesive sealant to prevent their release. The sealant will either create a membrane over the surface of the asbestos containing material (ACM) or penetrate and bind its components together. The waste can then be clearly labelled, put on your asbestos register and regularly monitored.
